It's all a personal preference. I got the Magnaflow SIDO rear exit Cat-Back part#: 16614 for my 06 FX4 scab. Tucks up real nice ( compared to the Borla system on my 05. ) I'd buy this one again. However, my 05 came with a vibe dampener - never had a vibe problem, nothing on the oasis report , it just came from the factory with it - and it looks like if you have the frame vibration dampener hanging off the left rear leaf, you may have a problem with that tail pipe. In that case, the Borla SIDO tail pipes are spaced further apart and would fit better.

I had a custom SIDO flowmaster setup on my 97 and i really liked it......much better than the rear duals i had on it before.

I'm thinking about the Magnaflow SISO on my 05 SC would like to improve mpg and alittle rumble is always welcome

I think im going to get the SIDO dumped before the rear tire. I love how it looks on the lightnings, and im not concerned witht keeping it clean b/c any tip is going to get dirty no matter where its exiting. The added cost stinks but its not that much. Is it any louder dumping it closer to the cab like that or is it barely noticeable?

Siso

I went with the SISO behind the tire on my 05 S-Crew, mainly to keep it as stock looking as possible. Love it except that trying to keep the tip clean during the Chicago winters is a real bear. I would not want to try to keep two of them clean.

Love Magnaflow

Cant go wrong with a single exit Magnaflow exhaust system and an Airaid intake....those two alone I would reccommend to fellow 5.4L 's getting going. Absolutley love this exhaust....

I went with a 2.5" SI/SO magnaflow muffler. Just the muffler using the stock pipe, it looks stock but sounds a lot better.

maybe on your truck, but since yours is a flare side, doesn't it have a under fender liner to help keep it clean. the screw's don't have that.

Does it still get tar and stuff from the road coming straight out the back? On mine, the tire seems to throw all kinds of stuff on the tip, which makes it a pain to clean.

Rock pick asked and none of the owners answered.

How much louder is the the si/do in front of the rear tire vs running duals straight out the back. This is the kit I'm saving for and want to make sure it still is the one I want.

thanks
