Luckily, I didn't see the Ebay auction...they would've been mine! 
I'm looking to buy a pair of these and I look a few times a day on Ebay for them. Unfortunately, my saved search is for "power step" and not "electrical running boards". That's why I missed the auction. It won't happen again! $900 is the cheapest I've come accross and was hoping to find a used set. If I don't, I will eventually pull the triger on the $900 set after my audio system is complete.
BTW, good buy you lucky dog! Oh, and I'm a SAN DOG resident as well!
