aftermarket transmission pans

has anyone purchased one yet. I would like one that has a drain plug and that is maybe finned and deeper to cool a little better.

There was someone on here a couple of months ago that had one from B&M. It looked like a great and practical mod. I think it increased capacity 2 quarts, had a drain plugged, and was finned. Do a search, you should be able to find the pics.

Here is the info from the B&M site:

40291 - Ford - AOD, AODE & 4R70W (adds 3 qts). Should fit the 75 also.

TCI also makes one.

both pans look real good. It looks like a good investment especially since i need this truck to last at least 20 years.
