Edge "?"

I bought the Edge for my 2005 with the 5.4....this tuner is awesome. I loaded level 2 and it now feels like a V-8. The gas pedal is responsive from all pedal positions. I ran a 7.1 sec 0-60 (x-cab, 3:73 gears ls, stock). I will try level 3 in a couple days....

My question: Can I load this on my friends 2004 f150 truck with 4.6 so he can feel the difference? Not sure with the different engine. (I know that I need to restore my truck before loading onto his). Thanks for your input.

I believe you should be able to. I would make sure that you have the latest update though, I think the version that came loaded on the tuner didn't initially support some of the 4.6l codes.

Yes you can. Make sure that you set your truck back to stock before you disconnect the edge. Then you can install it on his truck.

The Edge can only work on one truck at a time. If you change trucks without changing the unit back to stock before you switch....you run the risk of creating a 6000# boat anchor. I can't stress enough.......Put the vehicle back to stock before you switch vehicles.
