Anyone purchase from Sportstrailerz??

I bought a brush guard from them on ebay a month ago. It said delivery in 5-7 days. At the time they showed 9 available, I did the "buy it now" and paid immediately.
I called them repeatedly and emailed them for the first two weeks to try to get a tracking number and nobody ever got back to me. The only way I was able to speak to anyone was to call there sales department instead of there customer service department. I finally talked to some kid, and he said they didn't even have any of this part that they would be coming in on the 18th and that he would call me back with the tracking number at that time. I didnt hear from them so I called on the 21st and after giving the girl from sales a ration of Shhht she connected me to her manager, supposedly an owner. This woman checked into it and now says they won't have any until the 25th, IF they get them then. I also noticed they have updated there ebay add to show 25 available at an increased price. I told the woman that this was horrible business practice and she said she would get the ad pulled. Yeah right.
Just wondered if anyone else had anything to say about this company. I am waiting til Monday, then I think I am just going to take a refund and never do business with them in the future.

I feel for you. they did the same thing to me. I bought tires off them since they said they had 12 set of BFG Mud which were on Backorder from everyone else at the time but he had them. they took the money out right away but no tires. I called about 30 times and everybody told me a different date. then I talked to the owner (Randy McClelland) and he told me that he post things on ebay that he is "planning" on getting into his warehouse. Well it took about 3 months for my tires to come in. so some of the things he doesnt have in stock and that upset me since I gave him the $1200.00 right away for something he didnt have but claimed to

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I worked directly with Randy and got my 33x12.5x17 Pro Comp ATs and Series 1079 wheels from him in six days - for only $1,150.

I had a bad experience with them last year when I had my Ranger. I ordered some ProComp wheels that I couldn't find in the right size anywhere. They showed multiple sets in stock so before I bid, I called to make sure they had them in stock, and they said they did. So I ordered them, and they took the money right away.
After a week and hearing nothing, I called to check status, and they said they had 3 wheels, but not a complete set, and gave me the choice of taking 3 or waiting. I chose to wait cuz I was afraid I'd never be able to find another one, no one had them in stock. They said there were expecting an order in the next few days.
Called back later in the week and left a message, no response. Called next day, no response.
Finally got a hold of someone again, and they said they were still backordered. In the mean time they posted new auctions for more sets of the same wheels in my same size. I brought this up, and the lady told me she's let "them" know to take it down... never happened.
In the end I finally got them to refund my money, and they gave me a neutral feedback on my eBay rating warning others that I give neutral feedback based on them taking money for items they know are backordered.
They had great prices, but I'll never deal with them again....

Further than I'd like - about 2.25" beyond the physical side of the truck. I've purchased Bushwackers to help with that and will get them on just as soon as I get them painted.

I bought my lift from them and they shipped it pretty speedy although the first package came a couple days after the first three. They were not the greatest customer service because they weren't as enthusiastic and polite as most, but they weren't as horrible as customwheelsdirect. They are rediculous. Just go to customwheelsdirect.com and call their number, tell them you want to return your wheels and tires (they don't ask for your name at all), they start giving you crap off the bat. Why would you want to cancel your order...what for?

Edit: My horror stories with Sportztrailers began after this post, they did not send me replacement coilovers after speaking to 3 of their representatives. Nothing was done, thankfully Fabtech's manager had a little empathy for the situation and helped me out. They also sent me scratched and damaged coilovers that were recalls for another reason, don't deal with them if you have a choice.

just got my tires and wheels from them from my nissan frontier. What a nightmare. First they sent me the 2wd wheels instead of the 4wd wheels. I paid for the purchase on 2/18/06. I just barely recieved and mounted my wheels today...4/8/06...glad I got it all squared away but talk about frustration all around! Free shipping = slow
