There was a thread where the screen went out on a couple of members, but that was AFTER using it a week or so. The BIGGEST problem is that some are not reading the manual carefully BEFORE they use their edge. Not saying you didn't First the truck must be turned to the ON position but not the engine and THEN plug the unit in. It is important to get ALL the updates that come with the download because without one file the others are useless. I would try to download EVERYTHING again. Tunr the key to the ON position. Connect the device. and follow the instructions on the screen. You may have to return your unit to them with your receipt for a new one if it is defective. Hoep it is not. It sucks to wait get it and then have to wait again. But you don't want to mess up the PCM on the truck. That would be about a 1000 dollar mistake. Another problem people are doing is downloading updates while the stock tune is IN the EDGE tuner. First return the truck to stock program and then download the new updates. I hope everything works out for you quickly. Take care.

I read my instructions for awhile, before I even got my product (downloaded from the site). I never upload to my truck before the update so returning to stock isnt an issue. I wonder if bootloader is out of date that caused my unit to go blank after 3-4 seconds....

If the bootloader is outdated then I believe you WILL need to send it in for an exchange. The change is in the internal components and not in the software.
Give them a call and have them send one to you overnight. I believe that's what they did for another member of the forum. Let them know what an inconvenience this was for you and how long you had to wait just to get a product that does not work. I would be very upset. It's not a "cheap" gadget. it should work flawlessly. Good luck.:o

I guess I was too excited with new toy.....I didn't turn the key all the way on. Anyways, it loaded great with no problem. I'll post some reaction after tomorrow.
