Exhaust And XM Finally Installed

I finally got my exhaust put on over the weekend, and I got my XM Satellite Radio installed as well. The exhaust is a flowmaster 40 series. It sounds great. It's not too loud but it has a nice mellow tone to it.

Check out the Gallery for Pictures and let me know what ya think. Do you like the square tips? I love them, no one in my area had those style tips so thats whi I decided to go with them.

I really like those rectangle tips. I think they really follow the lines of the truck very well!!!

Yes, the left tip is about perfect and the one on the right is ever so slightly off , I did the exhaust my self and you would not believe how hard it is to get the tips perfect.

You did a good job.. Do those tips change the sound compared to a regular tip like I have?

I have a friend who has the same truck and exhaust set up as I do and he has tips like yours and they sound no different than mine do. I don't really think tips play a major role in the sound. Unless you get a baffled tip, then the sound would be a little different.
