Question Need New Shocks

30k miles and my stock shocks are shot, which I guess in normal. I have read some posts here on the Bilsteins. For those of you that have put these shocks on how do you like them? Are these the shocks to go with since I am going to stay at the stock height (Daystar Only) or are there now better shocks out for our trucks?

P.S. Where is the best place to get shocks?

just my two cents. i have rancho rsx 9000. i think they are great. they have a 9 position adjuster on them but i just leave them set at position 5. i also have the leveling kit + add a leaf and the stock replacement size is just fine. i bought them offline for 320 shipped. i think the price has gone up some since i bought them.

No trimming at all Tires fit great with no rub. The Weld Wheels have a 4 5/8" back spacing which do cause the tire to stick out maybe an 1 1/2".

Bilstien and Rancho are the only two shocks that I'm aware of for stock 04-06 F-150's at this time. The adjustable ride height feature of the Ranchos is a big plus.
