Got one. I bought a GPS program for it that I use all the time. Sits on the centerconsole nicely with a roll of papertowel on the passenger seat to hold it up.

For about $300 someone makes an awesome laptop stand that bolts to the passenger seat mounting bolts and swings out of the way. Do you already have one?

I dont want to replace my factory deck yet because I like the 6disc changer built in. BUT i do have an mp3 cd player i can put in at anytime. probably this summer

I use a Tablet PC in my truck to collect elevation data via GPS. I built my own mount and I'm using the two front bolts of the center seat to secure it.
Here is a great link for laptop mounts and a link to my Tablet.

Do you have a link to these programs? Where can I get one? Circuit City or the like? How much do they cost? And lastly, do they come with some kind of antenea? I think I may have finally found a use for all those Christmas gift cards!

I installed a Power Invertor under the passenger seat thats hardwired to the battery. Its got 2 power jacks and a switch on the front that you can access and the rest is out of sight under the seat. I bought it to run my PowerBook, and a printer in the future. I work for myself and want to print invoices in the truck so I can have really nice looking paperwork to hand over on the spot... Still looking for a small portable printer I am willing to pay the price for, but with wireless internet access through my Treo 650 (via bluetooth) I basically have DSL in my truck as long as I have cell signal. Now I just need that AVIC-Z1 from Pioneer....

BTW, I got the power invertor from eBay at about $35 shipped. it puts out 650W I believe which I worked out to I *think* about 3.5 amps @110volts. There is a web page you can google for and it will show you how to convert....

I found a Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 with the GPS Locator. Anybody use this? It looks sweet. And it works with a pocket PC too! I wonder if I can turn my pocket PC into a NAV unit. It's an older one, but maybe...

The guy that I work for has a lap-top molded into the top of his console in his 2006 F-350. He has it set-up wireless so when he gets within 2 miles of the concrete plants he owns, he then has access to their network. Been trying to talk him into doing all the custom work and get one in my 05 STX. Then I'd have to figure out how to keep my eyes on the road with DVD's and/or video games goin'

There is someone that has molded a base with epoxy into their cup holder in the floor shifter and it swivels from passenger to driver. It's a very creative and clean looking install.
