Another 2" Autospring Installation

Got my Autosprings in the mail about 10 days ago. They have been patiently waiting on the counter for me to acquire the necessary tools and get a little cooperative weather.

I finely got tired of listeing to the whinning. Yesterday, to the shop she went. Paid $127.00 for the install and alignment at a reputable frame shop. I am thrilled at the way it turned out, exactly the look I was hoping for.

Any one want a good deal on a 21mm socket, 30mm socket, and a 1 1/16" combination wrench?

Looks good, are you planning on stuffing big tires in there or leaving the tires stock?

Going to stick with the stock tires for now. I just bought these tires and wheels about 6,000 miles ago. I may go bigger when these wear out. I figure the Generals are probably good for another 5,000 miles.

Do you have any rake with your 2"? I am not sure if I want to do the 2" or the 2.5" I plan on NOT changing my tires.

I have not measured but it looks almost perfectly level. I had reseached a bunch of posts on here before I made a decision which ones I wanted. A lot of guys said the 2.5" set raised the front a little higher than the back. Many had to raise the back to get it the way they wanted. I wanted level or just a little rack and thats what I got.

I was also leary of the 2.5"s because of tales of rubbing.

Nice job! It's amazing how much better the truck looks leveled out. I'd suggest 285/70 AT tires on there when you're ready.

Got a set you'd trade for a couple Craftman metric sockets in good shape?

No I don't, sorry! IMO that size is perfect for a leveled truck with those wheels. Plus, I already have those sockets!

I have a set (4) that I want to get rid of, but I don't need anymore tools. Got anything else you want to trade for them??? (They are 285/70/17 BFG Rugged Trails with 3000 miles on them). I went to the 295/70/17 Nittos....

jmpancoast looks great. I got a 2" set holding the kitchen down and waiting to be installed. Great to see pics of a reg cab long box with the 2" installed so I get a better idea of what mine will look like. Can't wait to get them on, weather and help hasn't worked out yet. I'm also planning to keep my tires until they wear out then maybe some 285's to beef it up a little.
