Lariat AC controls, a faster way?

I live in FL. This morning it was 43 so I wanted heat, when I park my truck I don't get in it until 3:30. By then it's almost 80 degrees plus my truck is black so I want the AC on.

Is there a faster way to go from 90* to 60 besides just holding down the button?? It's so annoying having to wait like 20 seconds to get the temperature down.

My EATC is acting up again, it's getting to the point where I'm thrilled when the damn thing works at all. But no, you'll be stuck pushing the temp button as needed.

don't hold the button down. Press it over and over like a banshee. That's what I do.

Try putting your heater on 80 instead of 90 and you'll only have to wait 5 seconds instead

I love my "Climate Control" Lariat. As comfortable as they are on a drive, I almost feel like i'm sitting in a Lazy Boy and watching a movie as the scenary goes by

I've had mine go out on my twice. Just pulled the radio bezel, pulled out the two connections and plugged them back in, wierd.

Set it at 72 or so, and just control the fan speed on the wheel. Works great for me in FL.

I never touch any of the controls, fan speed or otherwise.

I have it set at 70 degrees, 99% of the time.

If it's cold, it heats to 70 degrees....if it's hot, it cools to 70 degrees. No need to change anything.

Why set it at 90.....ever?

Cause when I get in my truck at 6 in the morning and it's 40 degrees outside (which is cold as hell for me) I want to warm up fast.
I'm not used to the cold... or even the heat really.
even the AC has got to be on 60 at the end of the day cause i've been outside working in the heat all day and i'm tired of it, lol.
Maybe i'll do it before I get out of the truck in the morning so i don't have to wait in the afternoon.
I just figured there would be an easy way like hitting the auto button three times or something and it starts up at 70... oh well
