Tuner and warranty

Has anyone had a problem when they took their truck back to the dealer for work after having a tuner installed. Is this a warranty voiding mod? I know I had to be careful when I had my COBRA but not sure how strict they are with the trucks. Are yall just flashing back to stock or leaving the tune loaded up in the PCM? I don't want to buy a new truck and void the warranty the day I sign the papers.

Do a search. Chips, tuners, and progamming will have plenty. Basically, it depends on the dealer, but some mechanics on this forum kinda get POed if someone lies to them about having a tuner. I can sort of see that.

Return the tune back to stock, because if something happens to the drive train its an easy way out for the dealer. They make more money on paying customers then warranty work. Whats funny is I was complaining to the service dept. that my truck lacked power and they told me to get a tuner but return to stock before coming in for service to avoid problems. Nices guys at my dealer.
