Cost to paint your flares?

Hey guys:

I have a brand new set of Bushwackers for my '04 screw sitting in my garage waiting to be painted so I can install them. I just called a collision place to get an estimate. To prep, prime, paint and clearcoat, he wants $250. Is that outrageous or is that in the ballpark of what you're paying?

Thanks in advance....

A J

That doesn't sound too bad, in other words I'd pay for that. I figured it would be higher due to sanding (if needed), etc. I want to paint my front and rear bumpers, ask him for a quote on that

The problem with doing it yourself is that it wont match your vehicle. It is best to have it done at a shop where they can color match it to the rest of your vehicle. But it will be a whole lot cheaper doing it yourself. I would do it myself but then agoin i work at a body shop and get everything at cost.

I paid $500 to have my Lariet two toned Arizona Biege including the flairs. That also included pulling the bumpers and running boards all prep and etc.

And he said $600 was a deal, good lord. I have to say that is very high, not a "deal", sand blasting is very easy and definitely not time consuming. The painting process is not worth $600, to me.
