Limited Slip Working??
Limited Slip Working??
I have an 04 scab stx with limited slip, I got stuck in my driveway only one wheel was spinning (Alot ) until I finally moved about a foot then they both went, is that normal
Limited slip means just that, the wheels aren't locked together. You would need a locker for that. The wheels will slip under certain conditions, such as one wheel on ice and the other on asphalt. If you stomped the throttle when trying to get yourself out you would have overpowered the clutches and the wheel with the least grip would have started to spin.

I'd love to see your driveway! sheesh! yeah just throw it into 1 and then give it a lil gas and it'll prolly work it a little better
That is one downfall of the switch from GM to Ford. The locker rear end they have works very well. But, then again....I like switching to 4wd, and fords poor limited slip has given me reason to several times already.

If that happens, apply the parking brake a few clicks in, not just the brake. It will apply constant pressure to both sides. There are several ways to test your limited slip and the ramp test is one of them.
