Those arent even real Lariat ones. Mine have chrome rings. Those are STX vent surrounds with Lariat inserts... I think.

I bought a set of Lariat vents with the chrome surround and satin inserts off ebay. I didn't like the satin once I put the in the truck, so I put the chrome on my black inserts. I loved the way they looked. WHat I had left is the same as these advertised on Ebay. I would love to think I could get $40.00 for them. I will be watching to see what these do.

They just pull straight out. Stick your fingers in the louvers and pull out.

I'm sure it is but, is it the same procedure to remove the vents in the backseat of a SCREW? I'd like to go 'Lariat' with those...

RP ... measure those back seat vents and you'll see they're not the same size as those in the front! Stupid move on the Ford engineers' part if you ask me. Guess they had some limitations, etc. to deal with.

Oh, and you just have to pop up the back seat cup holder. The back vents console can then be folded downward ... exposing how they're placed in there, etc. The ones in the back seat do NOT just pull out. I believe a small screwdriver would be needed. But, what's the point ... unless you're going to take them out and paint them on your own. And then what does one do for the chrome ring? I'd love just to get mine "ringed" in chrome.

Thank you Gordo!!!!!!!! I really appreciate that!

Like you allude to, I think that the subtle details like the chrome ring around the register are so important to really setting yourself apart from the rest.

Again bud, thank you.

my philosophy was always measure once, cut twice, then either fill in the gap or trim it up.

Well I'm going to see if I can squeeze them in. But that is really frustrating they did that.
