He says his 02 F-150 grille will fit ALL F-150s up to 05. I explained the year split/overlap thing in 04 and he won't believe me. His last message also added that the grilles are from an 02 Lightning. The lower grill would be for a Lightning only, right?

 

I emailed him...he must be a TOOL!

 

You can lead a jackass to water, but you can't make him not put the wrong stuff on E-Bay. Wait, that ain't how that saying goes...

 

Thanks for e-mailing him Maybe that will make him think! Best that more than one guy raised questions.

I dont see a problem with the listing: The heritage body was also 2004

Exactly...it doesn't say a thing about it fitting an 05. Unless he revised it.

 

But not an 05 as he states it will fit. Also where does that lower grill go on a non-Lightning?

 

HE EDITED HIS AD. It DID say 2002-2005. Now it says 2002-2004.

Yup, and he emailed me and thanked me for helping him out...here's his reply:

thank you for telling me I changed it! Anyone who has that grille will know or should know if it can fit there truck! For 45.00 dollars you cant beat that1 Its like 450. from the dealer! I could take it to a used parts place and get 45.00 bucks but I like helping out fellow ebayers!! thanks for your help, have a good one!!

I am not sure what a "L" upper and lower go for but it does seem like a pretty good deal for someone with that modle truck. I know I always liked that grille.
