Blower motor ticking..

Has anyone had this problem?

It happened to me once only on a cold day (about -25degF). I has never done it again (been a month).

Yep. We were just talking about this in the 2006 recall thread a few down from here. My blower motor is supposed to come in today. It only happens when it is cold and you can hear it better on low than any other setting. The problem with that is the dealer has a hard time reproducing it. I started the truck yesterday and it was doing it so I went straight to the dealer and made the service advisor and the tech take a look at right then. They ordered the part and said they would call today when it came in. It is annoying as all he11 on a long trip.

I had this problem too. The blower would tick on settings 1-2-3 and it was annoying. I took it to the dealer and they replaced it. The blower motor took about a week to come in and it took the tech about 20-30 minutes to change it out.

Mine ticked from new, only noticed it on setting 2. Warranty covered it, but you can buy them for about 25 bucks and put it in yourself in less time than it takes to do the paperwork at the dealer. Three bolts, look under the glove box.

Mine has been doing this too, just haven't hassled taking it to the dealer. What is the part number for the replacement part?

Site doesn't list the OEM Part Number, is there some way to find that?

mine was more like a chatter, like a lack of lubrication. dealer took my word on it and changed it.
