Skyjacker 3" lift
Skyjacker 3" lift
Does anyone have this lift yet? Thinking about ordering this but wanted some comments 1st. This is about the only lift that I could use and still get the truck in the garage. Plus I don't really want to spend $1500-$2000. I already have a leveling kit but wanted just a little more height. Will the skyjacker get the truck to level also or is it a 3" lift that keeps the factory rake? 4 wheel parts website says that it won't be available till May but thought I saw a post earlier from someone that had it.Thanks for the info!
Multiple members have this kit. I just did a search on Skyjacker in the 04-06 section. Here are some members names if you would like to email them. Hopefully they will post.

Does the kit relocate the front differential so your CV angles are near factory geometry? I'm going to spend the extra money to get a suspension lift that maintains factory geometry. The last thing I need to do is replace CV joints and ball joints every 20,000 miles because of bad angles.
I have this kit as well. The front raised up 3" and the rear add-a-leaf gave me 2". The angles are pretty much the same as anyone with a 2.5" leveling kit, so when they start having problems I'll start to worry. The skyjacker coilovers are a little smaller in diameter, so the rubbing issue is not there. I haven't had any problems with mine to date. Ride is smoother than stock, but stiffer.

Two of my friends have the Skyjacker 3" lift. It looks really good but I could not live with the upper control arms being that close to the springs. It appears hitting a pothole would allow it to hit the spring.

Yeah I'm kinda scared of the wierd angles and my CV joints going out. I already have that with my EZ lift, was just wondering if they gat any worse with the 3" lift. I've had my EZ lift with no problems (knock on wood). I would think that after 14K miles if something were to happen it would of by now. Weather permitting I go 4 wheeling whenever I can so the lift isn't just for show.
