A while back, some guys were installing some off Ebay, don't know if it was these specific ones or not.

no man. Ditch the crappy OEM pads and get some aftermarket ceramic or carbon kevlar pads like Porterfields. they eliminate 99% of the dust.

At 13000 miles, I replaced the factory pads with a high quality semi-metallic, Wagner Thermo Quiet, they eliminated the dust. Before, I had to clean the wheels every 3 or 4 days.

Don't wait, change them now. You will spend more time in next week cleaning your wheels than it will take you to install the new pads. Best $47.00 I've spent on the truck!!!

so you are going to still wait to change them? Why? I changed mine when the truck was almost new, under 1k miles. If you know how to change brake pads yourself, then do it now!

I do most of all my mech. work. I am just one of the "why change em if they dont need changing" kinda people... I usually do mine every 30K. But if I am bored one day and have a few dollars layin around, I'll do it. I am gettin tired of the dust. I will surely do it after an autospring and bigger tires... Thats gonna be in may, so I'll do it all then!!

If you could get them for that price..(assuming they are of good quality) then it would be a steal! (plus the 32.00 for shipping)

Those are factory Ford rotors that have been machined. I asked the guy. So with those holes being machined and not designed or cast into them they would be VERY prone to cracking. Plus, I'm not REAL impressed with the factory rotors.

Umm, be careful. Stick to the ones people on here say have no dust. Don't go picking up anything you have not researched. I did this twice now and paid for it twice. I paid for the most expensive ceramic pad they had at Kragen's and I still have brakedust. I had the fronts done a long time ago with carbon kevlar (name brand...eagle something) and they have a crapload of dust. Don't trust brake shops, do it yourself, it's an easy task and go with Porterfields if it's in your budget. I haven't heard of anyone regretting it, and I've regretted it twice. Hope this helps someone. If you're changing the rotors, use a BIG hammer, it's hard as hell to knock those suckers off. 2 hours into it I was convinced someone was f*ing with me. I have done pretty much all the work to my truck as well, despite the one occasion I had someone else check my rotors and replace the pads while it was on the lift.

It's like 90 for front, 85 for rear (roughly). My brakes SQUEAL...if I had a quarter for everytime I had an embarrassing moment at a drive-thru...well I probably wouldn't be squeaking anymore I can tell ya that much.
