Don’t let the blue clip scare ya. Pull it up with your fingers or pry it up with a small screwdriver and then use the line tool

I dont know if this is good or bad but I was told you could trigger the fuel pump cutoff by hitting it and then let the engine run out of fuel to relieve any pressure on the line.

I can get the front line to release though having a real tough time getting the rear line that comes into filter from tank to release. Any suggestions? Compressed air to clean any debris out? Solvent that won't deteriorate anything.... Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions. This should be a simple job and as of now... it's not.

Thanks again

I think this pic shows the Schrader valve you could use to release the fuel line pressure if need be.

Not to sound like a jerk. but that's not the fuel line relief. It looks like one of the service valves for the AC. The fuel lines are usually stainless and the relief is most likely somewhere near the injectors. I haven't looked at mine yet as I only have 6700 miles on my truck and haven't even thought about changing the fuel filter yet.

Venezuela Dictator Vows to Bring Down U.S. Government

Venezuela government is sole owner of Citgo gasoline company

Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez has vowed to bring down the U.S. government. Chavez, president of Venezuela, told a TV audience: "Enough of imperialist aggression; we must tell the world: down with the U.S. empire. We have to bury imperialism this century."

The guest on his television program, beamed across Venezuela, was Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist. Chavez recently had as his guest Harry Belafonte, who called President Bush "the greatest terrorist in the world."

Chavez is pushing a socialist revolution and has a close alliance with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Regardless of your feelings about the war in Iraq, the issue here is that we have a socialist dictator vowing to bring down the government of the U.S. And he is using our money to achieve his goal!

Same thing I was thinking. Just looked at mine, the hose on the top of the pic goes to the intake. I'm not sure where the other is coming/going. It does have something to do with the fuel system.

The above picture is the test port for connecting a smoke machine to pressurize the evap emissions system and look for leaks.
