How about towing??? I want it b/c i got the daystar but now when i tow my boat it bulldogs, and the front feels slightly diffrent. Your truck looks good with the spacer lift and the add-a-leaf. I dont mide the back being slightly higher anyway, becasue thats how it looked stock. Thanks

I have not seen a change in the ride at all feels like the day I got her but bigger. the front is 41 1/2 from the ground to the outer center part of the fender flare. The rear is 43 from the ground to the outer center part of the fender flare. The top most part of my hitch is 11 1/4 off the ground. As for towing, I have a 2 place wheeler traler with Kodiak and a Grizzly and it use to bulldog but not now. Just waiting on my air bag to come in. The install was easy I used a frame lift but 4 jack stands would do also and some c-clamps, instructions were great that came with it.

Just ordered mine this morning. Hopefully they will compliment my AS 2.5" front level and keep the a$$ end from sagging when pulling my boat. Thanks

This site is killing my budget!

Damn! I just got notified that they are on at least a two week backorder, will be three weeks at least before they arrive and a month before I can get them on.

There are a few places that have them in stock. Who did you order from?

The Pro Comps are just as good and Summit has them in stock too.

I ordered them from Auto Anything like the origional post had, the free shipping and affordable price got me. Not a big deal, my job is taking me away from home for a few weeks anyway.

I know that I did not need to replace the shocks with the AS kit on the front, will I need to get different shocks for the rear now with the add a leaf kit ????

Would like to see some more pics when you guys get these installed. I'm still in the process of doing my front kit. Went to an offroad place today and discussed options. They only do the 1" and 2.5" daystar. Really wanted the 2" though. If I go with the 2.5, I might want to add the 1.5 in the back too for towing purposes. Keep us posted.

I will try to post some pics soon, still not sure how to do that yet. As for the add a leaf, got mine installed this week and with the 2.5" Austospring it looks great. At the wheel wells the rear is just under 2" higher than the front. Got the lift I need for 35's and still keeps a little of that OEM rake and should be great for towing the boat. If you are considering the add a leafs, I would definately go with the 2.5" front lift, that is unless you really like the front end to rake down.

Just be glad you aren't going to Eielson (sp?). I'm stationed in Fairbanks and the weather is horrible. No person is meant to live in -60 deg weather. Plus that cold plays hell on your vehicle. I know several people who have cracked there leather seats just getting in the vehicle when it is really cold. Anchorage isn't near as cold but they get more snow.
