2005 F150 Brakes

I have a 05 F150 Screw, and I have 9,300 miles on it. The brakes are gone, would the factory still cover this issue? I've only had the truck since July.

Do you mean the pad? Usually they are not covered. However, since you have so few miles, I'd ask.

What the heck are you doing to burn through brakes in such a short period of time? Lots of heavy towing, or some other unusual service condition?

unless they try to blame your bigger tires/lift, I'd say you would have a good chance of them replacing them since it's less than 1 yr/12k miles.

or now would just be a good time to replace the crappy OEM pads with something better like Porterfields.

the dealershipe might try to blame it on the tires and rims. Even with that set up they should last alot longer that that. But i know alot of dealerships will look for any reason not to warranty a vehicle

good luck

Ofcourse they are going to say it is due to your bigger tires, and you slamming on the brakes all of the time..

They sell them lifted all day long here. So they can't give me that excuse.

So because I have larger tires means I slam on my brakes???

No, but it does equate to more rolling resistance, which is harder on brakes.

Nonetheless, brake pads, tire balancing, alignment, and other "adjustments" are covered for 12/12.

Just tell them your wife drives it, and they will understand.
