Didn't these wheels just come out? People would of had to driven their truck off the lots and right to the store to buy a lift.

True, but it seems to happen all the time. Customizing is a disease right?

20" Rims

I bought my '06 FX4 in December while I was home on leave from Iraq. It came with 20" rims. Let me know and see when/if you get tires and lift with the rims. I can't wait to come home and do that myself. Would like to see though.

Totally agree, but i think the factory 20's would look sick painted matte black with a 6" lift
(on a black truck of course)

I think the stock 20's would look good if they had the aluminum look like the '18 FX4 wheels. I just dont like the flat grey look they have. They would probably look pretty good with some bigger tires on them but any rim looks good with bigger tires. I really like the super duty 20's my freinds dad has on his '06 PSD. They would look sweet on an f-150

The stock 20" KingRanch rims look really good in my opinion, a little less bling than others would like, but ok by me. I just think a slight lift and 35's or 37's would look awesome...hoping to find someone with that setup and pics!

I just don't understand why Ford wouldn't (at a minimum) offer these OEM/factory 20" wheels in CHROME! I mean, most of those who go for bigger wheels also want a little shine, a little reflection, a little ... and I hate this word ... bling. Just my $0.03 (inflation).

20" Rims

I was hasty about the 20's. But it looks nice (tires are more exspensive). Mine came with pirelli scorpions atr tires, looks to 'street' for me. I live off road. Would like to see how bigger tires would look on them anyways.

Hey, TXCOBRA, I am from Georgia but lived near Georgetown, TX for about 6 years. Back when I was stationed at Ft. Hood. I was at Hood for 4 years and liked Texas so much I stayed two years as a civilian. Back in military now and stationed in Iraq. But , anyways, I say do the lift on the 20's and save money on the wheels.

I would do it first, but I am in Iraq and have to wait until this summer. I plan on using my wheels. I would rather mess up factory wheels than some overpriced chromes.

Hey Mud, I agree...I have lived in central Texas all my life. Traveled all over the country and never found a place I would rather be.

I think I will do that, I like the aluminum look more than chrome anyway...just trying to get some pics on what my truck will look like once I get the lift and bigger tires on.

But on to the really important stuff...thanks for what you are doing in Iraq...we owe you and your fellow troops more than words can ever convey. Be safe and get home soon.

I bought some factory 20's off of ebay. Once I get them I am going to have them powdercoated black. Then I am going to try to find some 35x12.50r20 toyo MT's to mount on them. Then Im going to see if they will fit on my 05 with a 2.5" autospring. It will probably be awhile untill all that happens. Maybe a month if Im not too busy.
