I dont know if you have to remove the bumper to install hooks? However, I had to replace my bumper recently (hit a MDX) and got to watch the removal procedure. Its not bad, just a pain to do. You have to remove the headlights, then all the rest below.. it took an experienced body shop guy about 25 mins. to get it all off the truck. I personaly wouldnt even attempt it w/o an air gun.

That body shop sucks: You dont have to remove any of that; just the bumper.

I originally saw these in a magazine and began to . It was a while before I saw them pop up onsale, but they are far more expensive than I am willing to spend they would look great on your truck.

NICE Tow Hooks!!!!

I'd say dont put em on. I like them but they wont go well with the look you've put together. Besides you'll just end up pulling someone out of something, the strap will break, fly back and ruin your grill. Let us stockers ruin our grills

In case anyone is wondering, here is what the "nut assembly" looks like for the Ford factory tow hooks:

Hmmm, well then maybe they took it all apart to see if I had done more damage than was visible? I know I had the upper valance kinda messed up and shifted back into the trans cooler as well.

I like tow hooks. Get them if you like them. The only reason that I haven't installed a bull bar is that I would have to remove my tow hooks to put one on.
