Jan. 1st Mississippi finally started enforcing the tint law. Had 20% on my truck and it looked great but have had to remove it. According to the law and a guy at a local service station, if the front windows were factory tinted I would be okay. Does anyone know if you could buy factory tinted windows for the driver's and passenger door's on my 2004 F150?

 

Well, considering that they don't make ANY F150 with factory tinted front windows, I'm going to have to say no.

 

On my "dealer-added equipement" sticker it listed window tinting as $129.00. I don't know what % it is, but it's just right. It's light enough that I'm able to see out all windows, and dark enough that Florida's sun doesn't blind me.

Is window tint just not allowed there, or was yours just too dark? On all my other cars/trucks I've always taken them to a local shop and told him to "tint all the way around to Florida's maximum allowed."
