35" Mud Grapplers + Edge = FUN!

Its been raining all day here in Florida. I've had my Edge set at tune 3 with 93 octane for a while but I've never drove it in the rain and chit its a blast, kind of scary at times. I can spin them half way into 3rd gear from a dead stop. Just cruising down the road going 45, let off and coast down to 40, nail it, it'll get sideways. I wasn't expecting it that bad but holy chit it was fun.

PS: I know its sad cause it was raining, it just makes me wish I could do it when it was dry out. I just know how many parts I'd be breaking.

Damn man. How bout using Mud Grapplers in mud?
And this is a whole other thread or 2 but WTF is with people racing and dragging other trucks? For f*ck sake....IT’S A TRUCK!!
My f150 is off-road EVERYDAY. The last thing I give a flying f*ck about is whether or not I can spin rubber or drag a hemi.
I've crawled up and down mountains covered in a foot of snow with 4lo on bfg at's....THAT is the PROOF of a TRUCK.

I mean no offense…..

I really don't drag race my truck, I've only done it maybe once or twice. Just for the fun of it, just messing around with friends.

Now, if you were cruisin down the road and seen a 04 F-150 on 35s sliding sideways spining tires for a LONG time wouldn't it put a smile on your face? Exactly.

40mph? I can't even do that with my Troyer tuned XCal2 on slicks (bald tread) unless I'm going 15mph or so. Odd way to compare performance but it's interesting.

Mine wont either. Id say when i punch it around 40 mph its the most gutless feeling in the world...(stock of course) It ****s down to like second gear so it lugs until the rpms get up a ways and then takes off. If im below 30ish it will shift down to first and have some kick. Everybodys truck will run different.

I got my edge friday and was powerbraking it at a light yesterday in the rain.
I also have 35" grapplers.. But i've got 10" wide rims so it's a little harder for me.
I haven't tried it on dry ground yet. But I was suprised how well I was able to do it. Whether it was the rain or the edge i'm not sure.
Probably both. It was only on level 2.
On a side note.. the edge is bad *** and it's the best $339 I ever spent!

Ya id agree with ya there. Anything above 35ish and it doesnt shift down hard. Like it needs an extra gear. But around that 25ish it shifts down real nice
