I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who didn't need his ego stroked with a 4X4 . .

 

I would only use the 4wd a few times a year and with a limited slip it helps some. Didnt feel like spending quite a bit of money more and having a few hundred more pounds to haul around in the transfer case. The beast already weighs around 5100 as it is. 4x2 definatly made sense for me.

 

My thoughts, too . .

 

I'm gettin an '06 Super Duty once my lease is up, and I will definitely upg to 4x4 at that time. Oh yeah, my payment will go up by about $3.00 too.

 

Same for me.

I live in Ontario and we get some snow, but have had a two wheel drive Ranger for the last five years. And when I had good A/T tires, I didn't get stuck once so I passed on the extra money and went with the ever dependable 2wd... (less stuff to break and repair too )

 

Another 4.6L, 4x2, Screw!!!!! I couldn't locate a 4x2 screw with the 5.4L. Seem's they were only in the 4x4 models when I got mine....

I wouldnt buy anything else, even living in NE.
Who needs 4 wheel drive.
