They look clear to me? The way you describe those taillights, you'd think you were breaking some city eyesight sonic boom laws! (I'm still laughing about that)

All kidding aside, I think it's the flash from the camera that makes that flat chrome have an orange tint to it. The reflection from the light in the cameras flash probably catches a little red in the chrome reflection and dulls the color to an orange which is viewable to you eye. (It makes sense in my head)

Wow, I'm losing it, thank God it's finally Friday.

Ok guys I emailed the seller and he said the maker of the taillight was UNKNOWN. I guess he won't be selling alot of these on there. I would not buy if the seller could not even tell me who makes the damn thing. Wow, people are just stupid. Just letting you guys know what I found out.

I ended up modding my reverse light to a silverstar halogen and it made a huge diff. It was impossible to see in reverse with the deep tint windows at nite.
I want some details of this one. I can't see nothing with my 5% tint.

I took a H3 55w silverstar fog lite bulb (the one with the wire attached and is held on by one screw w/ground wire) and grafted it to my reverse light bulb hole, It lights up the world in reverse now!

Any problems with heat ... 55 watts can melt plastic .... I realize that they are not on very much but under some conditions you could be in reverse for quite some time.

I think the original 3156 bulbs ate 27 watt.

He is probably telling people the same thing he told me. The manufacturer for the taillights are UNKNOWN. I dont think he will do very well with these if he can't even give a little bit of info on them.

2nd Round -- None Sold.

You'd think this guy would realize that he needs to tip his cards just a little bit to tell us about these things...

Similar to an earlier post, I emailed him concerning the manufacturer. The response was in very broken English and did not disclose any information. While I understand the stance on this, he must understand that no one wants to dump $250+ into something not knowing anything other than the color of the item.
