Well i remeber there being a thread when the EDGE evolution programmer first came out about how it was lacking a MPG readout and idle rpm adjustment..

Well look what happened! EDGE read the thread it appears and made it happen!

Is there anything else that you think the EDGE programmer needs?

I fell that it could use a Average MPG reading. I find that it would really come in handy for all the non-lariats.

Something I think would be cool would be a gauge showing what gear your transimission is in at the time. Not where the shift selector is but actually what gear your in at the time. It wouldn't be good for anything but kind of cool...if its even possible.

Just throwin an ideal up here so dont be too hard on me if it can't be done. Dodge and Chevy have MDS, its computer controlled and I read on here that a good gust of wind will kick it back into 8cyl. mode. How bout being able to manually shut down fuel and spark to 2 or 4 cylinders, on the fly as needed. Cruise on 4cylinders and save gas, haul say a 4-wheeler or something relativley light use 6 and when you need the full herd of horses bring all 8 back online. Whats everybody think about this?

Average MPG

Air/Fuel Ratio (via the O2 sensor)

Proximity alert to lowest priced gas.

As long as the age range for "old" is adjustable. Some of us are not that old but still plenty dirty.

The air/fuel ratio would be nice also.

Be realistic. You cant have everything.

J/K. Have you recently reflahed your PCM and EDGE just doesn't have your trucks program or what?
