ive got rhino lining. The only complaints i have had about it are the fading(to be expected) and i had one spot rub off where my winch wire rubbed a spot off when im hauling my fourwheeler.

If you want to go with a do it yourself liner I'd use either Durabak or Herculiner. They're both about $100 for a kit I think. I've had a Ford drop-in in my last three trucks, one for 11 years, with no issues, cost about $200. I've seen some nice spray in jobs but I've also heard some nightmare stories. I've also never seen a spray in that was ~ 10 years old.

I love my drop-in, and if my bed ever gets screwed up or rusty or scratched, I'll do a Line-X or Rhino Liner. Just installing one of those messes up the bed pretty bad, but that stuff will cover anything!

I especially love the fact that the Ford dealer gave it to me for free!

SCREW GETTING A LINE X! I emailed the local place and he responded with

" it costs 385.00 to go under the rail and 445.00 to go over the rail
and it
takes about two hours from start to finish so give me a call if you
want to
schedule an appointment...
thanks,
brett"

That sounds about right. Like someone already said, you can do it cheap or you can do it right. If you don't want to pay for Rhino or Line X then get a drop in, not that do-it-yourself stuff.

A roll in liner was the worst mistake I ever made with my S-10. The F-150 is going to Line-X soon.

I got my Line-X for free when I bought my truck. I never would have gotten one otherwise because they cost so much and you seem to hear a lot of horror stories.

No issues so far. I like it because stuff doesn't slide around in the bed. Its a nice clean look. I just wouldn't throw anything heavy back there because it will dent your bed for sure, with drop-in liners you don't have to worry about that.

Exactly why I didn't get a spray in, but they do look great.
