Rancho Lift & Fabtech Steering Stabilizer

I just got my Fabtech Dual Steering Stabilizer today. The instructions seem pretty straight forward but is there anything I need to know before I tackle the install? Im also curious if I should change the power steering fluid?

Let us know how the install goes, I am wanting to add the steering stabilizer to my stock setup. I have a nibble that I can't get rid of with my terra grapplers. I am pretty sure I can mod the brackets to work with my wheels and the stock ride height.

I'm interested to hear too. I pulled the trigger and bought the 1.5"
Autospring for my Rancho lift today. I wonder if these stablizers will work with the Rancho skid plate. I don't really see why they wouldn't. Feel better dude.

Thanks and Im glad you followed my advice.

Are you going to add some lift to the rear or no?

PS: If you do get the steering stabilizers, keep me updated if it works with the skid-plate. I want to get one but I don't want to waste money if it doesn't fit.

I hope Im not going to run into problems seeing how my wheels have 5-1/2" of backspacing.

Can any Ford techs recommend a power steering fluid?

Yes I will probably end up lifting the rear more. I really need to just see how it looks. Procomp has a rear leaf shim kit for our trucks I read about in another post. It uses like 1/4" plates and can give up to 1" of rear lift. It shouldn't need anymore than that. I'm thinking about finally installing my RCX controller too, I just need to figure out where to mount the gauges. I'll be sure and post pics.
