Gear ratio difference? 3.55 or...

Gear ratio difference? 3.55 or...

I have 3.55 in mine, what is the difference in that and the other options?

Is one better for mileage, towing... ect ect?

Sorry, just more noob questions...

That depends on your driving. A 3.55 will yield higher gas mileage during expressway only driving. A 3.73 might yield better mpg if you are doing city only driving (quicker out of the hole=less gas to get moving). The 3.73 is better for towing than the 3.55 would be the standard answer, but that all depends on your definition of better, some may disagree.

Well I know that I have the 3.55 limited slip and it sucks lol I get 12mpg in the city so lol and on the interstate I get about 15.96!

The way the factory torque converter is on the vehicle they will prob have the same acceleartion. The 3.73 would help by keeping the higher rpm to prevent unwanted downshifts. But even then the gears are so close to each other it really doesnt matter.
