There was talk about Dana/Spicer making some electric Locking diffs a few years ago, haven't heard much since.

From my experiance Air Lockers are a better and more reliable way to go as they are a well proven design. I have had years of experiance with ARB Air Lockers and they are great. Also the Jeep Rubicon comes standard from Jeep with Air Lockers, Jeep could have any design on the market and they chose air lockers. One of the nice things about the Jeep version (Dana 44s F/R) is that they have "feedback" sensors that verify when the diffs are for sure locked and display this in the instrument cluster. The Jeep version is also a low pressure system vs the ARB high pressure system. I have had my Rubicon in many different envirouments and the air lockers have never failed or given any trouble at all.

Would you know if ARB has a airlocker for our truck and its pricing?

Do a Google Search for "ARB Air Locker F-150"

BTW, once you get a set of Air Lockers they are addicting and nothing else will ever compare to having the control of locking or unloaking the diffs at the press of a button.

I think Dana makes the ones for the Rubicon and they are a little unique because they are a limited slip when unlocked vs a normal open diff when unlocked with the ARB.
