I'm sure you'll hear from an expert, but gentle washing with car wash soap on a lambswool glove, just like the hand wash you give the truck, keeps mine clean. Followed up with a monthly coat of 303+, which comes in a small pump spray bottle, and my tonneau covers have always stayed in good shape. I think the two work together-keep it "moist", or at least from drying out, and it doesn't hold the dirt or fade as much. Keep it clean, and it keeps the fabric in good shape.
