Edge/ Tuner and Mods Question

I have the edge hooked up running level 2 (tow), I just received my new MIT from Airaid, How should I go about installing the new tube.

a. Just remove the (-) battery cable and install

b. Return the truck to stock, drive stock a few drive cycles, then remove (-) battery cable install, drive a few drive cycles with new Tube at stock, than return to Level 2.

c. what you guys tell me!!

Any advise would be appreciated..........Thanks

I would install it according to the directions that come with it. I wouldn't unhook the battery unless the instructions say to. The PCM has adaptive strategies and it will learn the new intake on its own.

It states to unhookthe battery before installation, my question was more about doing this mod while it is on level 2, or should mods be done while running stock mode?

Sorry If I was not clear....

Anytime that you do change the tune, it clears the KAM. Just like if you were to unhook the batt.
