OK Fellas, here's your chance...

The FX4 is going into semi retirement. I say "semi" since I am handing the keys over to the wife and it will be her primary driver. The truck has been flawless for the work it has served on the ranch, but I am going to upgrade to the F250. With the beating the paint has taken on this truck, I told the wife I'd paint it for her. Brush marks and paint chips from all the dirt roads just don't look good on what will now be a city truck.(Personally, I think it gives it character, but you know how women can be) Question to you guys is, what color would you like to see on this F150 that maybe we havent seen before? Keep in mind I have the FX4 Screw with black "leather", so its going to have to coordinate with that. I like some variations on silver that I have seen...(i.e) the mercedes silver is sweet. What do you guys think?

Cadillac has this totally awesome pearl paint that changes to a few different colors at different angles. If I ever have to repaint my truck that's what I'm using!

I couldn't agree more...the paint on these things does chip off easy. I'll run the caddy color by the wife and see what kind of response I get. I have a feeling she won't like the combo with the interior...but we can try.
Pink? The only thing pink I like is...well...thats another story.

Do the white pearl color that you see on the escalades. I think that would look good.

I can't see this paint job running you any less than $4k, is it really that bad?

If she agrees to the color change paint then maybe you can get her to agree to a chain link streeing wheel and fuzzy dice to match. Maybe some Hydraulics
Now to get serious. One thing you may consider is it is a "few" dollars more to change to color of a vehicle because the Door jams and under hood need to be painted aswell.
If I were to change the color Id say Sonic blue like the mustangs were around 2002/2004 or Cadilac has a killer blue similar to that on the Escalades.

I am plain vanilla. I like white to blend the dust. But as you are shopping for colors, remember that you can paint your truck any color taken from any model of vehicle. Ford, Chevy, Caddy, whatever. Your paint shop can order any color they wish from the Auto Paint store.

I had one of my pickups painted from Ford Red to Caddy Yellow.

I'd paint it that two-tone Black and Harley Orange that you see on some the HD editions!

3rd. Add Harley badges, lights, and grill. Then some aftermarket 20's. That would be awesome.
