I can't stand the second one!!! Their's something about the lower part of the bar I dislike.

I really like the first one. Its made by pushrodsforever. Its all stainless steel and from what 928GT says, it fits really well.

Thumbs down

Go with Westin, the chrome actually matches the factory bumper! The second one has a yellow look in the picture and in person as well.

I almost bought the second one but decided not to. I think that that bottom piece might stick out a tad too much for me. I don't want to look like a train with a cattle catcher when I'm coming down the road.

Those are really nice. I just can't understand why they're more expensive than some bull bars. There can't be as much steel in most of those. I guess more bends? Better quality?

Westins lifetime warranty should be enough to help you decide. A KNOWN company that has been around for years. The westin bull bar is also a chrome plated stainless steel not just stainless steel. I dont know if the other 2 are chrome plated stainless or not, but if there not they WILL discolor after only a few months in any weather. I would suggest westin all the way, but it's your wallet.

ME TOO :-)

Seriously the workmanship and quality of this Bull Bar is unsurpassed. I have my own in house Tig Welders/fabricators and I know what quality workmanship and welding looks like.

Plus the little details like the laser cut out of the F-150 logo shows a higher level of attention to detail and it is evident thru out the product.

Just a very satisfied customer. Also Tuscany Trucks was so impressed with it that they contacted me wanting to know where I got it and it will most likely become an option on the later "FTX" trucks.

Indiana red,

Sorry, but that is not an accurate statement. First off they are more grades of Stainless Steel than they are model and interior variations of F-150s.

The grade of Stainless used on the Pushrodsforever Bull Bar is 304L that is micro polished and will not discolor.. UNLESS you try to use it as an exhaust system :-)
I design/fabricate/sell 304L Stainless Exhaust systems and am very familiar with various Stainless Steels

While the Westin Bar is definitely a high quality item (and I can not say anything bad about that) the reason they Chrome Plate their "Stainless Steel" is because it is a low grade stainless steel and would never hold a polish like a higher grade such as 304L etc.

Do yourself a quick test.. if a magnet will stick to the "Stainless" on the Westin than it is not a high grade Stainless Steel. I would guess it is the 4xx series and will oxidize unless plated.

Also once you scratch the chrome plating (or if it starts to flake off as chrome can do) it will rust where the scratches penetrate the plating. When you scratch high grade stainless like 304L you simply buff the scratches out and continue on.

Concerning Westin customer service I am sure they are as good as most large companies. BUT, the Customer service I have received from the PushRodguys goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. First off I was concerned that their bar would not fit the different front of my FTX and they assured me I could return it for a full refund if it did not. Then after receiving it I thought I had to modify the mounting brackets and in my excitement got trigger happy with my plasma cutter and ruined the brackets. I contacted them and told them what I did and asked if I could buy just a set of brackets from them.. they said no... he would send me a replacement set for FREE :-) Try that at Westin or any other large company and see what happens...

Just so it is clear I have no affiliation with thse guys, but in this day of corparate red tape and lousy customer service I am proud to sing their well deserved praises.
