There is a thrill every time an exhaust gets done on your truck. I still got it the third (and final) time I got mine done. My progression went like this: Flowmaster 40 dumped -->IMCO Extreme 3 inch behind rear tire --> Magnaflow. The Flowmaster is the way to get the volume you're after. Magnaflows seem a lot quieter on the 5.4L than they do on the 4.6L. Looking forward to seeing the finished product on your truck.

I have the single chamber flowmaster with the tips you speak of, like thumps. They eat up road debris like crazy (the tips), and my illegal flowmaster is pretty loud, I had it done for $300 (150 for flowmaster, and 150 for all new piping and tips). I lost a crapload of power, I'm probably going back to my magnaflow muffler.

Ack!

Those two 6" (granted it's a chop) look like two rather large poop chutes....but, it's not my truck... and if it floats your boat, I say set sail!

Oh yeah... I'm HAPPY TOO!
