New tires

Ok here we go again. Before I start I have done a search but didnt get a good answer to my question. I currently have the BFg rugged trails 275/65/r 18 in my Eagle Alloys 187s. I am wanting to get a taller tire more so thatn a wider one. I have made my mind up on the Nitto TGs. ANy tips on tire sizes. I could never remeber how the tire dememtions are read. I see my choices are 285/60R18 and 325/60R18. How would the differences relate to the BFGs?
Thanks in advance for any help

275 = width of tire in millimeters
65 = ratio of height to width
18 = wheel size in inches

285/60R18 -- 11.22" wide x 31.46" tall
325/60R18 -- 12.8" wide x 33.35" tall

Id say 325/65/18 which is a 35 inch tire. Stock with 2 in level kit. Anything bigger than that you'd have to get a lift kit 3 inch or bigger

I'm just confused between saying 33"s and 275/65/18 or whatever corresponds with 33".
