New rims, question on lowering
New rims, question on lowering
I just put on 22's x 9.5, now the rake on the truck is crazy. I wouldnt mind having a minor rake but I need to get rid of all that gap, what would recommend to accomplish what im looking for.......all help is appricated.

. I dont know a lot about lowering but if you wanted to lower the back to be even with the front I think you can take out the rear blocks. Its pretty easy to do and it will look much better. If you want to lower the front you will have to get some lowering setup with new springs.

Its not a 4wd so just removing the blocks wouldnt work.

you could throw some 2" lowering shackles on the back pretty easily, that would even it out some. nice choice on wheels, not chrome like everyone else.

, day pics comming soon....Looks like a 2/3 drop would be just about right. Are the RS-5 wheels? And do you tow with the truck?
you stated that you wanted to get rid of all that gap, do you mean the rear or the whole truck?
if you mean the rear, go with the shcaks
but if you really want to get rid of "all that gap" and have a minor rake, hit the 2/4 DJM.
i was at 2/5 (nice and leveled) but then went to 2/4 cause of rear tire clearance issues.

i have a 3/5 drop and my rear still sits about an inch higher than the front.
drop the rear 3 inches more than the front if u want it to sit level and 2 inches if u still want a bit of a rake
