yeah man remote start is a great thing. I had one on my 98 Lariat was the best but...now that I know how some install shops work on cars/trucks I won't get it installed anywhere but in my driveway. I'm not sure but if the dealer doesn't install it does it void your warranty?

There are alot better alarm/remote start systems than that.

I had Viper which was good. pretty Long range.

When I bought mine it was an alarm and remote start combo. installed it was 550 from an installer near me.

Check out this site I have also heard of bullydog which in a different thread was talked about
