your truck looks great, i've been looking at that setup for awhile. could you tell me where you got the kit from and price?
again-looks great
Thanks badkarma
I bought the kit from mheuwe (if that is how you spell his screen name) here on F150online. It was 500 shipped. The only thing i had to buy were rear shocks and an alignment, which im going to go do now. It is worth it if you dont want to go to a 4 inch or a six. Here is a pic of the setup on the front end. Good luck

How are those Helo's chrome holding up in the winter? I keep seeing people running around with chrome rims in the winter and I'm wondering how everyone isn't suffering from serious pitting?

Thanks,

Duke

Well, I have only had the wheels on for about a week and we have had a wierd winter so far. Since the wheels have been put on, it hasnt snowed and its been warm. I still have my stock wheels and i might swap them out soon, so i dont ruin them

That upper control arm looks extremely close to the spring. Is that true or just the angle of the pic making it look that way?

The angle of the upper control arm is close, about 1/2" away. I am going to get it re-aligned right now so it should be better

Mine was very close before alignment, its pretty decent now...no rubbing for me yet.
I assume that picture is before alignment.

Very cool Casey!

I STILL can't decide whether or not to do the rear add-a-leaf! BAH!
Im going to re-align it now, Thanks for the compliments, I love the truck so much more.
GET THE ADD-A-LEAF IN...lol. you wont regret it Craz3D. I looked at mine before the leaf install, and to me the leaf installed gives it a much better appearance. Get er done man.

That completes the look. Now that I see some more angles of your truck, I think that the Helos stick out past the wheel wells perfectly. If you have time could you take a pic of your rear tire, and how much it sticks out past the fender?

Thanks

Thanks for the compliment. Here are some pics of the rear tire. The rear didnt move much. The front tire moved in considerabley. I would say after we put the lift on, the front moved in anywhere from a 1/2" to 3/4"

The lift only cost 500.00, but i bought the lift from a guy on this site. The rear shocks came in around 70.00.

How much higher is the back than the front?
Craz3D...The front measures around 41" and the rear measures around 43". You will probably get anywhere from 1 1/2" to 2" of lift by putting the add-a-leafs in
