BushWacker / Xenon fender flares question

Needless to say, my 33/12.5/17 ProComp ATs mounted on 17x9 (4.5" backspacing) ProComp 1079s have put me in dire need of some fender flares. They kick up so much stuff off the road that I'm seriously worried about my paint being affected.

I measured today and the tires extend exactly 2.5" from the edge of the truck. Does anyone here have roughly the same width of tire and do the BushWackers end up being relatively flush with the outside edge of your tire? I seem to remember reading that the BushWacker extends 2.5" and you can get either 1.5" or 2" width Xenon flares.

Thanks in advance for any help!

To my knowledge, bushwacker has flares that go all the way from 1/2 inch to all the way to 5 inches, so bushwacker seems like the way to go. They also have 3'',2.5'', 1 1/2 inch and i think another size, im not sure.

I'm especially interested in your experience because it appears that your tires extend about the same distance as mine do. Excellent choice on color by the way.

My FTX has the Xenon Flares with 305/55-20 Tires (not sure of backspacing), check my Gallery for pics at various angles.

I have the pocket style fender flares. there is pics in my gallery if you want to check them out. they stop at the bumper. they are supposed to cover 2.5 inches but I did not do a before and after measurments to check it out. I do believe the only differance between the pocket style and the other ones they make that cover 2.5 inches is the pockets with all the bolts that go all arround the fender flare. you can check out picks in my gallery if you like.

Right now I have 2 Flares on Front Left and Rear Right LOL. Paint shop mixed another set of flares with mine and sent two of the same side. Should have all of them on by the end of the day. It makes a huge difference in the apperance though. Wil post some pix asap.

You and I appear to be in the same boat... We have different lifts (same size) and different brands of tires (Nittos vs Toyos) but the same size.

Currently, I am spraying the side of my truck daily with gravel, dirt, sand, water, etc...

Honestly, I think the Bushwhackers are the only type that will cut it. The Xenons look great on the FTXs, but I'm afraid they won't provide enough protection because they really only add 1-1.5" of extra coverage.

I just hope Bushwhacker makes a model that extends 2.5-3" that are not the "pocket" style with the rivets. IMO, they don't match the truck at all.
