Help!!!

What's louder delta 40 or super 40 and 2nd do you lose that much torque with the super 40?

and with the 5.4 with a bigger pipe is the torque that noticable?

The Super 40 is louder and no you don't lose any bottom end.

Im not sure, I think the stock diameter piping is only 2.5" and thats what I have into my muffler.

How'd you do that? Because I got info from the local muffler shop and they said with the super 40 you can only get 3.0 in and i looked at flowmaster site and the only si/do for the super 40 is 3.0 in

Im not sure, maybe stock is 3" maybe someone can clarify.

Hell, Im not even sure if I have the Super 40 or the Original that might be why. It was a Christmas present so I don't know much about it. Sorry.

Yeah i asked about that and if i remember correct I got a 2.5 inch response... in your opinion since you know alot more about trucks and stuff is the delta 40 loud? or does it just get blown away by the super 40?

The delta is not as loud as the super. I have the delta 40. It is designed to reduce noise in the cab. It sounds great though. If you are looking for the loudest, the delta is not the way to go. I dont understand why people want their trucks to be that loud anyway, but to each his own.

I heard the orginal 40 was THE LOUDEST! But the problem with orginal 40 is same as super 40 only inlet is 3.0 and the stock inlet is 2.5 hmmm

Alright I got an estimate from the place it was 340 for the super 40 with 3.0 inlet! is the orginal 40 more? The guy at the place said that if i wanted 3.0 inlet he would repipe it from the cat! That's why

The Original or Super 40 isn't that loud. . as long as you keep your cats that is.
