The Lariat keyless entry security module is behind the backseat also, drivers side. You may have a problem with that. Is your keyless entry and door keypad working properly? Just a thought.

If you have the sub wiring running anywhere near the aftermarket wiring it might be crossing over. Don't only look back by the sub. Mine was crossing over at the headunit itself. Mine was doing the EXACT same thing though. Once I put my truck in gear it would get worse or come on and then fade out etc.

Sorry for bringing this back to life, but yesterday was the final straw!

I did a little bit of driving yesterday. While driving the buzzing from the back went on and off 5 times.
First time it went off I pulled the truck over and played with the keyless entry. That was working and everything was fine.
Then the next time it went off, I played with the sliding rear window.
Second and third time I played with the rear window it went off right away.
4th time I played with the window again, but it didn't stop the buzzing. So then I tried putting it into nuetral(because that sometimes does it)it didn't work either.
Here's another question. This truck has a Kenwood DDX-7017, with nav. I also have a Audiovox overhead DVD/monitor. I checked for wire crossing's, and didn't find anything.
Who should I bring this into? I mean, do you think its the stereo related?
I don't want to bring this into the dealership and them tell me its my fault, because of the stereo.

Thanks again

Found it!!!

Its the damn amp!!!
Got the truck going in tomorrow for it.(and other things)
Must be a loose wire, because only when the truck is shaken, the buzzing will come on.

Yes, I did last summer. Turns out, it was a bee.

Oh man, the buzzing is back!!!

Ford replaced the amp and now after a month its back.
I can't figure out what the hell is causing it to do this.
All I know is, it comes and goes when I hit bumps and sometimes I can get it to go away if I push the rear sliding window button.

How do I get to the rear sliding motor?
I'm thinking maybe the wires to the amp are caught somewhere and its touching ground, due to a spliced wire.

Thanks again
