Leveling Kit plus Spindle Lift??????
Leveling Kit plus Spindle Lift??????
For those who know can the two of them work on a 2wd F150 '05? I saw a guy on here who had the 3 inch spindle lift and I'd rather that then a BL. I have a leveling kit installed now can I add the spindle lift?
I was wondering the same thing myself. I dont think I want to go with a full 6" lift, for cost effectiveness and ease of install. I just did the 2.5" Autospring a few days ago, and I'd like to clear some 35's on my 2WD Lariat. I would also like to know if this can be done, and if so, how cost effective would it be? I dont like body lifts!
You're right Wandell, as always. However, I have noticed that some of the companies that make complete lifts that include taller spindles will sell any al all components seperately. So, you couldcall, say RCD for example, and just buy the spindles. I wonder if that would work?
No, there is a reason there are more parts to the lift than just the new knuckles. If a company could make a lift with just spindles (knuckles) and sell it cheaply, they would just like they did with the 97-03 4x2's.
Wandell if they did release a 3inch spindle would you be able to run that with a leveling kit? Also whats the cheapest way to go up in inches besides a BL if you're already running a leveling kit?
It's hard to say if you could run both. If they made spindles, I assume you could. You can run lift spindles and Daystar spacers on 97-03 4x2's.
If you already have a leveling kit, a body lift is your only inexpensive addition. And it is only inexpensive if you install it yourself.

Yeah including the parts. I suppose I could just do that, and bolt up some 35" tires on the set of factory 20's I am getting this week. I'm not looking for a full on lift kit, it's a 2WD. I just want it to look a little nicer than stock is all. Should be cool once I get the 20's, which by the way are gonna be free thanks to my friend and a member of this board.
That sounds like a great price. I believe the Performance Accessories body lift for the 04-06's retails for over $200. I also undstand they are more difficult to install than the 97-03 body lifts.

I figure if I can't find a price like that, Im just going to try the install myself with a few friends.
500 Bucks for an installed body lift is super cheaper. My off road place charges 950 installed. I wish I knew of some other places around here that do work. Anyone know of any houston shops? My friends father is a mechanic for Metro I wonder if he would do it in his of time.
