Thumbs up I am finaly back up and online again

Hello everyone, I was pretty new to the site when Hurracane Katrina hit. This is my first post since the storm. I had to have my Baby completely repainted,at a total cost to the insurance company of 10,000.00 +, The body shop that did the work did the best job I have ever witnessed. I am a paint inspector for Shell offshore And all I can say is that I could not tell it was painted, The company that did the work completely took my truck apart and repainted it then replaced everything And I mean everything from the glass to the bumpers to every piece of trim on the outside. I was so happy to get it back, It took them a total of 12 weeks to do the job, But it was well worth it, I finally got back offshore to work after almost 6 months at the house trying to rebuild.
My truck still looks like new and is running strong as ever with the mods I have made.
Just wanted to say hello to everyone again and hope to get in on some good truck talk.

Welcome back! That's good news that your truck wasn't a loss and they repaired it. But it's even better news that your still here to add to the forums. God Bless you and yours!

Welcome back, glad to see that you have gotten everything back in order. There are a lot of people at work that are still working on their houses. How much water did you have? Who painted your truck, just in case I ever need some work done?

I did not have any flood damage, But the wind really did a number on my place. I had the truck painted in Milton Florida, at a place called Downs Paint and body, I highly recomend them as they did a an outstanding job on my truck. I like I said am a paint inspector by trade, My job is to find the imperfections in a paint job. I could not find a single thing wrong with the work they did. Thanks for the warm welcome back everyone.
Hope to get back to doing some modding really soon and will as always share my ideas just like everyone else has done.

Welcome back!

I was just over in the Mississippi/Louisiana area on business and it looks like things are finally starting to move in a positive direction. Couldn't believe the traffic in Baton Rouge, and all the trailer homes that are being moved into the area!
