Tonka Grille

Hey Guys,
I have an 04 Lariat and see all these guys with the Tonka grill, what do I need to do to add it to my truck? Where is the best place to get it and do I need to get the FX grill frist?

Ive thought about getting one of those grills too. There is one aftermarket place that sells one like it, but I heard the finish isn't as good as the one on the FTX f-150s that you have seen. Myabe someone can help you out with the link to that. If you search you should be able to find it, I have in the past.

I would think that the guys with the FTX's should be able to get replacement grills for their trucks. I heard that they will just bolt over the factory FX4 grill.

Yes, but you can get those off of Ebay cheap, or look in the classifieds here.

I was told they are doing a seperate website for the FTX and it was "Coming soon"

I do know they are working on some new options and upgrades for the FTX, some of them were ideas I gave them.

Please send me the PDF, I only have a hard copy of the brochure.

I have the tonka grill in my truck. Just put it as an overlay over the lariat gold grill that I have. Takes 2 screws to lock it into the plastic (gotta use self-tapping with some thread lock to keep it secured). If you look in the Truck'n magazine, theres one of the companies that sells it. Now theyll even polish it for ya.

I'm also looking for the information to purchase this grill.. Those aftermarket grills in truck'in magazine aren't anywhere near the quality that the ftx truck grilles have.

I need an "OEM" one..

Tuscaney never responded back to me and ford dealerships have no clue to even a part number for those grills.

Please send me pictures of the grille on your lariat, I want to see how it would look. I have the Tan grille insert and pictures would help to seal the deal. I don't think it will look as good putting the black FX grille on my truck with the tan bottom, too many colors.

Send pics to james_petre 'at' verizon.net
