I don't want to put your dad down, but its pretty easy to get the paint to stick to the plastic. This is my secont truck with painted handles and mirrors, and not chipping or pealing. Its all on how you prep it....take your time. I've alot of things with my mirrors, and nothing is wrong with them.

granted, it's a nice truck, but it's not worth the "buy it now" price of 44K.

now, i'd take it for the current bidding price(26K), but not more.

Same here. My mirrors are painted and they are not chipping. My plastic textured step boards are also painted and have been on my truck for 2 years and still do not have a chip.

Nice but, I would rather have a Lariat for $31,000 and spend $5000 on it to customize my way and still be $9,000 less they they want for theirs and mine would be BETTER!
