blocks???

does anyone know where i can get 6" blocks for the rear axle of my 2005 ford f150???

i have a 4" rancho lift kit on it, but then the front sagged a little bit after it got broke in, and i like the look of the front being a little bit higher than the rear, and since fords dont have torsion bars, i figured out a solution. I think i can get a 2.5" leveling kit (just spacers for the coilovers) and that will lift the front 2.5" but then the front will be too high... so, then i need 6" blocks instead of 4" blocks to even it out, and it will leave the front the extra 1/2 inch, so it will give it the look that i like. When it is all said and done the front will be even with or a little higher than the rear (no more than half an inch higher) ........... if this works...... im a geniouse.....LOL

PS: IT IS HALF THE PRICE OF A 2 INCH BODY LIFT INSTALLED, IT WILL COST ABOUT 700$ TO DO THIS AND A SHOP TOLD ME IT WUD BE 1500$ FOR A BODY LIFT INSTALLED BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY DIFFICULT. (LOOKS BETTER TOO)

Well, is your truck a 2wd or 4wd?

If you have 4wd, I really wouldn't go 2.5" but if your set on it. Just have a machine shop make you new blocks.

I think you should find a new "shop", 700 to install some blocks and a spacer seems ridiculous.

You know for the money you spent on the rancho kit, and then $700 bucks to lift it more you could have gotten a 6" coilover lift.

Just do the autospring leveling kit like Thumper just did, and if the back needs to be higher use the Fabtech 5" block or an add-a-leaf.
You could probably do it yourself for $250

First of all, the Rancho is really 5.5" of lift.

Anyways, get an Autospring 2" leveling kit and the Fabtech 5" block. .

ps: $700 including parts + labor is insane, parts are maybe $200.

ive been looking at pics, and there are 4 spacers in the kit, could i just put one spacer on the bottom giving it a 1 1/4" lift in the front?????? that way i probably wouldn`t need a new rear block........would it work?

um.... i was looking at the front end of my truck, and......where the coiloverrs rest on the bottom mount, it appears that there are threads...... does that mean i can just screw the bottom mount for the coilovers up and lift the front of my truck?????????????
